The Argo Foundation

Outstanding Results. Realized Together.

The Argo Group established The Argo Foundation to work in partnership with non-profit organizations in Bermuda to achieve success on behalf of Bermuda's youth. The Argo Foundation will invest in programs and services that enrich the lives of children, preparing them for a productive and rewarding future. Decisions regarding funding will be made during quarterly meetings by an independent Allocations Committee made up of employees of Argo Group in Bermuda and a cross-section of Bermudians working in the for profit and non profit sectors.

Funding Criteria

Criteria required to be considered for funding:

  • The organisation is a Bermuda registered charity
  • The organisation has an active Board of Governors who meet on a regular basis
  • Financial statements are filed with the Charities Commissioner according to the schedule established by the Commissioner
  • Programs and services offered by the organization are not duplicated by other non profits in Bermuda. Where similar objectives are shared, there should be clear evidence of partnership and cooperation.
  • Applications are submitted directly to the Allocations Committee, using The Argo Foundation application form.
