Argo Group is dedicated to supporting the communities in which its operations do business, knowing that by doing so, they are helping to ensure the safety and well-being of employees and their families. In this regard, Argo Group has established two philanthropic organisations - one in Bermuda and one in the United States as well as a matching gift program that benefits the charities chosen by Argo Group's employees.

The Argo Foundation - Bermuda

The Argo Group established The Argo Foundation to work in partnership with non-profit organisations in Bermuda to achieve success on behalf of Bermuda's youth. The Argonaut Fund to Secure the Future

The Argonaut Fund to Secure the Future was established in the United States as 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation to aid those in need of assistance as a result of catastrophic events. Aiding hurricane victims is a prime example of how the fund enables Argo Group to expand its corporate citizenship well beyond the local level. Fund distributions are made to Argo Group employees and family members, as well as to public charities that already have in place well defined allocation systems, such as the United Way and the American Red Cross.

Matching Funds Program

Argo Group established the Matching Contribution program to encourage its employees to support charitable, educational and cultural organisations. Argo Group and its subsidiaries in the U.S., Bermuda, the U.K. and Europe will match 150 percent of gifts made by eligible employees to qualifying organisations-from a minimum of $25.00 per gift to a maximum of $7,500 per employee per calendar year.
